Vodka Cherry Snowcone | Cocktail
A vodka cocktail recipe featuring lemonade, orange and cherry liqueur. Perfect for warm weather entertaining.
Oh man. This cocktail is just so cheery and perfect. Plus it's going to save me lots of trips to the snow cone stand. Score. What a better a way to welcome in the warm weather. Oh, I'm sorry...is it not warm yet in your region of the country? Well, we are at the tail-end of February in Texas which means its shorts weather. Already.
Even if the those sun-shiney rays haven't warmed up your hometown just yet, this is a cocktail worth making. But, I warn you: Proceed with caution when it comes to this tasty little beverage. I could be deemed somewhat dangerous, as it is extremely pleasant to sip upon, and you can't taste any of the booze hidden within. Yikes.
Ingredients:
1 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Herring Cherry Liqueur
1/2 ounce orange liqueur
3 ounces lemonade
2 ounces sparkling water
Splash of grenadine
Sliced lemon for garnish, if desired
Method:
Fill a glass with crushed ice. Pour over the above ingredients, stir and garnish with a lemon if desired.
